Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. These Terms & Conditions govern the Customer’s access and use of the sealed.ae website and offline services. By accessing or using the Sealed site, related tools, software, or any other Sealed service the Customer agrees and is bound to these Terms & Conditions.
Any deviations from these Terms & Conditions will be binding on the Customer and Sealed only if they have been agreed in Written Form between authorized agents of Sealed and the Customer.
It shall be prohibited to use the Sealed website and/or services in any way contrary to these Terms and Conditions, applicable laws, good morals, or principles. It shall be prohibited to interfere with the integrity of the contents and form of the website, as well as to use the website for storing or sending malicious code.
Access to the Sealed Platform
The Sealed platform is accessed through a dedicated user account. In order to create an account and gain the status of a registered user, the Customer should first complete the registration process. By registering an account, the Customer confirms to be a natural person over 18, capable of entering into legally binding contracts according to the applicable legislation, including to have been also authorized to represent the Customer. Additionally, the Customer warrants that the information provided for purposes of the account is true. When using the website, Customers must follow all applicable international and local legislation.
During the registration procedure, the Customer submits a password through which access is provided. The Customer is obliged to protect the password and shall not share it with third parties. Accounts shall not be transferable. The Customer shall be obliged to keep the data up to date, as necessary.
Authority to Print Supplied & Uploaded Images
The Customer confirms that whether by way of copyright ownership or otherwise, you have authority to and grant Sealed permission to print all the images submitted to Sealed and that you will indemnify us from any liabilities or costs that we may incur as a result of claims to the contrary.
License and Copyrights
Sealed agrees that the Customer retains all legal rights to the images and files uploaded. The Customer is responsible for the images, and may edit or delete these images at any time. Sealed will use the approved images to supply packaging products per the Customer’s request. Sealed will only use the images in promotional materials with the Customer’s permission.
Ownership of Designs Generated or Displayed
By using Sealed’s platform to either generate or display designs for any of Sealed’s products, Sealed is being granted ownership over the generated or displayed design. This does not refer to ownership of images, which the uploader retains the legal right to. Scenarios where designs are generated by software include but are not limited to layouts, use of property effects, stacking, arrangement, alignment, etc.
Artwork and Designs
Sealed is unable to check the resolution quality of individual images used in designs generated in third party programs. If a collection of images are generated in a third party program such as photoshop and then uploaded as a single .jpg, Sealed’s software can only read the resolution quality of the entire flattened file. Sealed therefore cannot be responsible for resolution quality of individual images. Please refer to the design specifications listed on the Sealed website to ensure high-resolution printing.
Order Cancellations
Sealed starts working on the Customer order shortly after it is placed – usually on the same day – so please get in touch with the Sealed team as soon as possible in case of any cancellations. Sealed is unable to cancel orders once artwork is confirmed and they are in production.
Packaging Pricing
In connection with the production of the packaging, the Customer is obliged to pay a fee for the services rendered. The amount and terms of the pricing will be specified on the website or in writing in case the “request a quote” option is used.
Sealed’s pricing is currently listed in UAE Dirhams. For shipping outside of the UAE, additional custom charges may apply during the time of shipping; the Customer is responsible for payment of any taxes, duties, and clearance fees.
The Customer shall be obliged to make payments under the Sealed invoice to a bank account indicated in the invoice no longer than 7 business days of the receipt of the invoice. In case of the Customer’s omission to pay any of the Fees due under the invoice for whatever reason, Sealed may suspend the access to its Services, including Additional Services, or terminate the contract with immediate effect.
Changes to Packaging Pricing
Sealed reserves the right to change prices on already started projects. This includes scenarios whereby a Customer has started one or more projects that were left inactive, and following a vendor price adjustment for the started packaging item(s).
Packaging Discontinuation
Sealed reserves the right to cancel uncompleted orders in the event that a packaging product is no longer offered.
Product Warranties
Sealed’s packaging products are made to the highest standards. If any defect in packaging material or printing is evident upon delivery, the faulty product will be replaced if the issue is raised with the Sealed team within 3 business days upon receiving the physical product.
Claims for faulty goods and damage in shipping: The order will be carefully inspected and packed before being dispatched. The Customer must inspect the products for visible damage before signing for receipt. If goods are damaged in transit, the Customer must retain all packaging and notify us immediately. We will re-supply any product which is not delivered as per the Customer order confirmation, but the Customer must claim within 3 business days. At our discretion we may request the Customer to repack securely goods that are faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied for shipment back to us.
Limited Liability
To the widest extent permitted by the applicable law, Sealed shall not be liable for any lost revenue, profit or data, or for special, indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages however caused and regardless of the theory of liability arising out of the use of or inability to use Sealed or arising out of any images posted on Sealed. Additionally, Sealed is not liable for:
- Submission by the Customer of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information
- Ay damaged customer by the Customer’s violation of third party rights
- Damages caused by the User’s password or login being compromised by third parties
- A Customer’s intellectual property rights being violated
- Damages caused by the Customer’s non-observance of these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy
During the period of force majeure, which shall mean an event that could not have been foreseen despite exercising care required in professional trade relationships, which is external both to the Customer and Sealed, and which could not have been prevented by either party despite exercising care, performance of any works and Sealed’s obligations, within the scope covered by force majeure, shall be suspended. Sealed shall not be liable for non-performance of its contractual obligations during the period of force majeure.
Site Feedback
Any comments, suggestions, or other proposals/feedback provided to Sealed in connection with the operation or content of the site and products shall be provided by the submitter and received by Sealed on a non-confidential basis. All such comments, suggestions, and other information shall become the exclusive property of Sealed. By submitting any such information to Sealed, the Customer agrees transferring and assigning, at no charge, all of the right, title and interest in the information, including all copyrights and other intellectual property rights. The submitter agrees that Sealed shall be free to use such information on an unrestricted basis.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions may be changed without notice. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review this page regularly for changes. Continued use of the Sealed website or offline channels following any change constitutes the Customer’s acceptance of the change.
In addition, by ordering products or using Sealed’s online and offline services, the Customer acknowledges having read and agreed to these terms in their entirety.
